About us

VANCOSTA is a modern full-cycle engineering company (EPC contractor) specializing in creating solutions in the areas of decentralized generation, cogeneration and construction of “energy islands”.

We work with the world’s leading manufacturers of energy equipment, which allows us to implement highly efficient solutions for specific needs:

Gas turbine technologies (Baker Hughes):

  • Gas turbine power generation plants (GTU) with a unit capacity of 12-16 MW.
  • Gas pumping units (GPU) and compressor equipment for the oil and gas sector (up to 25 MW).

Gas-fired power plants (INNIO Jenbacher): Cogeneration and trigeneration units in modular and containerized versions (0.6-6.5 MW)

Special purpose engines (INNIO Waukesha) for difficult operating conditions and specific technological processes

Electrical equipment (Nidec Leroy-Somer): Industrial electric generators and high-efficiency alternators for energy systems

Thermal stabilization systems (Güntner): Cooling systems and industrial dry cooling towers (dry coolers)

Heat recovery equipment (APROVIS): Waste-to-energy boilers and waste-to-energy steam boilers

Switchgear (GE Vernova Grid Solutions)

The efficiency of VANCOSTA projects is ensured by the coordinated work of a cross-functional team. The division of responsibilities allows us to control each stage of construction – from concept development to commissioning of the facility.

Project team composition:

  • Chief Project Engineer: A key figure responsible for the technical strategy, comprehensive engineering design, author’s supervision and support of the procedure for the official commissioning of the facility.
  • Project Manager: Provides operational management of the project implementation, adherence to calendar schedules, and coordinates interaction between the customer and contractors.
  • Mechanical Engineer: Responsible for the technical implementation of construction and installation works, installation and integration of the main technological equipment.
  • Electrical Engineer: Responsible for connecting the facility to power grids and ensuring the readiness of engineering systems for the commissioning stage.
  • Automation Engineer: A specialist who carries out commissioning work (PCW), configures control systems, and is responsible for the stable launch of the facility into operation.
  • Quality Control Engineer: Monitors compliance of construction and installation works with technical regulations, quality of concealed works and reliability of connections at all stages of construction.

The VANCOSTA team has extensive experience in implementing large-scale energy and industrial facilities both in Ukraine and in international markets. We guarantee high qualification of personnel through continuous development:

  • Professional certification: specialists regularly undergo specialized technical training directly from manufacturers, which allows us to accurately comply with technological requirements for correct installation and reliable operation of energy equipment.
  • Approvals and safety: employees have the necessary approvals for high-risk work, including work under voltage, and have valid certificates on labor protection and safety

Mission

We work to turn complex energy challenges into sustainable advantages for our clients. Our approach is based on a combination of deep technical expertise with the best global management practices.

Each project for us is an opportunity to prove that Ukrainian engineering can meet current global standards.
